Royal Zambezi Lodge is a privately owned 5* lodge in Zambia situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. It lies a few minutes from the Lower Zambezi National Park directly opposite Zimbabwe’s famous Mana Pools World Heritage Site. The Lower Zambezi National Park is home to a vast variety of Africa’s animals, large herds of elephant and buffalo and offers frequent and reliable lion and leopard sightings, plentiful hippos and crocodiles, not to mention the spectacular bird life.
The central lodge and individual private suites are designed to let nature play a leading role in ensuring the relaxed pace and magical experiences are enjoyed by guests.
The Lodge features 15 rooms comprising of 8 Deluxe rooms and 7 Presidential Suites. Included in this is the Family Unit consisting of 2 Deluxe rooms joined by a communal outside lounge/play area. The large canvas tents nestle under mature trees in complete privacy and are all positioned to capture the breathtaking surrounding views across the Zambezi River.
The lodge offers a vast range of activities – from unrivalled game viewing and canoeing on the Zambezi River, to world class fishing or relaxing in the award winning Royal Bush Spa. At the end of the day guests can meet at the famous Sausage Tree bar overlooking the river or cool off in the swimming pool.
Royal Zambezi is a year-round destination serviced by private luxury aircraft with short flights from Lusaka and Livingstone.
